Book, 50 cents

I know that hardcovers are supposed to be superior to softcovers, worthier and more collectable, but I've always preferred the look and feel of paperbacks. Also, I'm offended by the idea of dust jackets, especially the ones that are an exact replica of the glossy cover underneath. What a waste of ink and paper! Though I must admit, I do like finding a book in an op shop and deciding it's too scruffy to give as a gift, only to lift off the dust jacket and find the exact same artwork underneath, only in pristine condition.
